The compilation is in the slides at the end of the blog.

05.10.2020 (Week 7)

Jenani and I are in a group, so we discussed with the students from food science (FS) and brand management (BM) about the product. The product is a hydrogen-infused peach lemonade, formulated by the food science students. They also informed us that our packaging is a doypack, sized 13cm(W) x 18cm(H). From the brand management group, they tell us the style and gave us several color palettes to choose from. We can still make amendments but we have the direction on what to include in the design.

12.10.2020 (Week 8)

We came up with several designs of the labels and showed in to both of the teams, where they pick one concept and we worked on it. After picking this concept, we include more information (which was given to us by the FS team) onto the front and back packaging design. Initially, the product name was "Hi-Peach", but after that, they changed the product name to the brand name "Aero".

19.10.2020 (Week 9)

After getting more information (nutrition facts) and feedback from FS and BM team, we worked further on the packaging. We had to show the progress on week 10 to the lecturers from FS and BM. Below is the packaging shown on week 10.

26.10.2020 (Week 10)

After showing the designs to the lecturers, we gathered some feedback regarding the packaging. We changed the blue to another color, providing some other options, but the color choice was not suitable for the packaging. They wanted turquoise, so we gave them a range of selection.

However, we did not change the color because the brand management team had already done their branding with that color, so we could not change it.

We preferred the maroon color, and showed it to Mr Shamsul. Mr Shamsul approved of the maroon and blue packaging, so we submit both for the final submission.

3. FEEDBACK

26.10.2020 (Week 10)

The presentation was good. The blue color of the packaging makes it look like a detergent. Additionally, the lecturers thought that the label with a peach image was more attractive to them. However, it was up to the target audience of the FS and BM team.

02.11.2020 (Week 11)

The maroon color works well for the packaging. Submit both maroon and blue for final submission of project 2.
