INSTRUCTIONS




PROGRESS

Before starting, this was provided to us to have a rough idea on how to make the infographic video.

8 groups had 4 different topics and we were given a topic of electricity. After having discussions, we decided to narrow down the topic to "Why Don't Birds On Powerlines Get Electrocuted?".

Below is our data collection and initial narrative:

Then, we did a moodboard to be presented in class for Mr Shamsul's approval to proceed with the idea.

We did story planning, script-writing and storyboard after confirming the topic.

After all of that was done, we continued with animatics (a simple animation with narrative). We did a simple illustration for the keyframes and recorded the narrative using a microphone.

For my part, I was doing the animation for keyframes 1 to 8. Below are the few versions of the animations:

After getting feedback from Mr Shamsul, we had to change our graphics as it was too simple.

Below is the improved graphics illustration for each keyframe:

A list of assets were also compiled for animators.

Hence, the animation below is with the new graphics.

I thought that the animation was lacking sound effects and some animations need to be changed. After some minor amendments, below is the final animation for my part.

I also did some animation and added sound effects for part 3 as there were some amendments needed to be done.

FINAL ANIMATION

After compilation, below is the final animation for the infographic video with the title "Why Don't Birds on Powerlines Get Electrocuted?".
